The image of a masked man carrying a female body displays dominance. Lea, in the role of the victim, finds this ultimately arousing. The seemingly lifeless body imitates victims in serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer’s Polaroids, placing them into suggestive positions for sexual pleasure, but also ascending them to an eternal symbol of necrophiliac adoration.
Diptych was exhibited as part of the Biennial of Independents and the Sonica Festival (MoTA point) at a solo exhibition in Bunker (Argentine Park, Ljubljana) in 2015.
